Sybok and his mother in the new universe

Since Spock is a little boy when Nero comes back and the timeline deviates, that means that Sarek's marriage to the Vulcan princess and the birth of Sybok have already happened. Does anyone else think there are stories that could be mined from this considering the events of the film?

Sybok's dead. I saw it myself. He's the one that was standing in the middle of the energy beam from the drill when it began firing, I tell you. They just cut that part out.

There's several thread debating if we should bring back Khan and the trend is no. I think it is safe to say Sybok will not be making a comeback.
