Sword of Damocles available on Amazon

^ The fold-out looks great! You must be pretty proud to see your design realized in an official specs diagram. :)

I second that. The call-outs were cool, and it was a nice surprise to see all the Luna class ships listed at the bottom along with their registries. Nice touch. This class has become my favorite.

Fantastic book so far. I'm getting a very cinematic feel while I'm reading (oh yeah, got the whole "shakey-cam" you are there thing going on!). And I love the design of the ship!I have enjoyed the other books in the series but in this one everything just seems to fully gel.

This appeals to me a lot more than the recent TNG novels. I'll be getting this as the author's P&C short story Chiaroscuro is one of favorite Trek short stories ever. Bewildering but fantastic.

I was just ooking at Jaza's entry on MB (which actually has a scanned picture of him from the ST Magazine) and I noticed that his appearance in Fragments and Omens actually predated his appearance in Taking Wing. So I was wondering, was this intended a sneek peek at a Titan character or did they simply decide to expand on a background character from one of the DS9 books?

Linkification.

My bad, I thought I did put a link on that.

At least I'm not the only one who doesn't care for that picture. I've always pictured Jesse L. Martin myself.

Is it wrong that I've never imagined Jaza with dark skin? I think I missed that small detail in "Taking Wing" and automatically cast him with another actor that randomly appeared in my head... when I realized my oversight, I didn't bother revising my imagination!

^^Well, Marco originally suggested to me that Jaza was a "Gil Grissom" type, so even though I knew he was supposed to be dark-complexioned, I couldn't help imagining him as William Petersen as I wrote Orion's Hounds. I've since managed to reprogram myself to see Phil Morris.

To me, that picture looks more like something out of Resident Evil. Very problematic IMO. Perhaps it's the quality of the scan I don't know...
