From reading the blog, that triad design is actually a quad design. You just can't see the fourth nacelle from the image angle.
Those designs are nice in thier own way, but not very Starfleet looking to me.
I think I like the Steamrunner better with the deflector up like that.

I haven't seen any meshes of it, but perhaps I'll make that my first Lightwave project if I'm feeling ambitious.
