Survivor: Fans Vs. Favorites (Spoilers)

Oh my God, I hate Amanda more and more with every second she's on camera. Will this whiny bitch ever shut up? She seems so incredibly fake and is just alienating the jury further. I was rooting for Natalie, then Cirie, but now I really, really, really hope Parvati wins this final vote.

But Amanda is fucking GORGEOUS!

Ok, Parvati is too.

I thought Guatemala was a great season, and I still think that, but man does Micronesia give it a run for it's money. This was such an awesome season with so much drama. I think Survivor is back. There were some years that it went off the deep end, but this season was absolutely fantastic.

I loved this finale and reunion show. I had a feeling Parverti was going to win (I even told my parents earlier in the day and they thought it was going to be Cirie) and in a way I'm glad she did. Amanda played an alright game, but I don't think Parverti alienated anyone. She played a great game and deserved the prize.

The reunion show was just as great as I thought it would be. So much to cover I thought they could have taken it to an hour and a half. It wasn't even an hour.

I do have a question though. I was really surprised they took it to two making the jury an even split. What would have happened if there had been a tie? Other than that though, I'm glad I saw this season. I think survivor is back, and one of the best "reality" shows out there today. Yeah they get bashed as "Lowest Common Denominator" drivel and stuff like that, but man did this season provide the drama.

A couple of observations about the finale:

First, did anyone see Natalie hitting on Parvati at the final tribal council? At least that was my take on the situation.

Second, I thought both Amanda and Parvati both looked better on the island than they did on the reunion show.

Oh actually a third observation. Natalie cleans up nicely. Wow!

Great season; I hoped Cerie would win it but...

Ozzy and Natalie speeches... :wtf: camera whores much? :p

The best part of last night was watching those final two idiots get some good, down home bitch-out. I don't know which one I despise more (Amanda... could you shed ANY MORE fake tears??? ) and I hope that's the very last we see ever of them on Survivor.

I noticed that too.

Yeah, I kind of thought so too. But, it's likely the Reunion Show's makeup/wardrobe people just overdid it -they always seem to.

Yup.

I did too. Oh well, the 2-player final tribal council screwed Cirie I think, she definately was the dominant player on the island. Amanda screwed herself imo, again. I can't believe she made the same mistakes as last time in the jury vote.

One thing I was wondering: With two players left, would it have been permitted to make a deal? Like, Amanda and Parvati agreeing to split the million 25% for the loser / 75% for the winner. I would certainly want to make such a deal in that situation.

I was wondering about that myself. I'm glad they went back to a two person final, but with an even number of jurors, the potential for a tie was there.

I was rooting for Cirie, but once it was down to two, I was glad that Parvati won. Amanda's crying and whining grew old. You'd think she would have learned from the first time, but she tried to play to the jury the same way. I'm not surprised the results were the same.

Ozzy's bitter rant towards Parvati and his sappy declaration of love to Amanda was lame. It reinforced my opinion that, while he's a good physical player, he's clueless about other aspects of the game. And WTF was up with Natalie's "question"? What little of it that made sense was way out of line.

Natalie's "question" was just crazy, where was she going with that?

I guess I'm totally under Amanda's spell because for me she can do no wrong. But could there be a hotter final two? I think not!!

Oh and I'm excited about next season being in HD! :)

There's been a lot of hot women on Survivor's history, I'm sure a hotter final two is possible, but this was nice. Especailly when they were all huggy and cuddly with each other. But Cerie would've been a better choice, strategicly, to go with into the final two.

there is a clause in the rules that forbid players from doing that. I can't recall where, but I read the rules the players sign and that was in them.

Well, that was a disappointing end to a great season. I can't stand Amanda or Parvati, so naturally they get to the final two. Anyone else would have been better, except maybe Natalie. Cirie really deserved it. I'm actually surprised she didn't win the Sprint vote. James again? I like him but he's not THAT great. I'm glad Amanda didn't win, because she's a superficial whiny brat, but I'm not happy that Parvati won, because she's a superficial flirty brat.

I'm happy they are going back to Africa...I'm getting pretty tired of them always living on the beach. I thought Survivor was much more interesting when it was set in the desert or the outback.

One other observation about the reunion. A lot of times, the editing on the show can paint someone in a favorable or unfavorable light, and after watching the live reunion show, you can come away with a different opinion of that person.

But that one guy, the firefighter, Joel I think was his name, well, let's just say the reunion show didn't do much to change my opinion of him. Maybe he's just really introverted or something, but man does he come across as a dick.

Ya he really did come off as a real jerk in the reunion show. Maybe he was still pissed about being voted off but he really came off badly.
