Survivor: Fans Vs. Favorites (Spoilers)

Spot's Meow

Vice Admiral

Well, I have to say that tonight was the first time in a long while that I was actually surprised by who left. The show, while still enjoyable, has become pretty predictable over the years in terms of who will get voted off each week. The major alliances are formed, they merge/get mixed up, and one side takes off the other. They usually try to give you some hope for the other side with showing some of the whispering that they are trying to do to save themselves, but it never actually pulls through.

Until tonight! It actually worked...this is why you should never just sit back and give up. Even at the last minute you always have a chance. And the best part about it this time is that Erik was actually completely telling the truth.

The previews for next week look good...
Jason: I found the immunity idol! *shows Eliza*
Eliza: That can't be the idol.
Jason: Why not?
Eliza: It's just a stick!!

 Does Jason really believe that's it?

I liked Ozzy, but he's starting to annoy me. How could he not see that he was the leader of the tribe? He's become quite cocky and that makes me hope he's taken out soon. Right now I would like Alexis to win.

Any thoughts?

I still like Ozzy.

And yes, Jason really does believe it's the idol. Obviously, Eliza is probably going to talk him out of it. Damn her!

I couldn't agree more. He has gotten extremely arrogant in this season of survivor.

yeah, Ozzy is arrogant... but Alexis fr the win?? she has barely spoken 3 words.

I dont know who i´m rooting for, maybe Cerie

^That's probably why I want her to win. She hasn't said enough to annoy me yet.

I've never been a fan of Amanda and Parvati (even in their own seasons), I don't like Ozzy anymore, James is okay but also getting kind of cocky, and Cerie has gotten way full of herself.

So the only people I'm really liking right now are Erik, Alexis, and whoever those other people are whom I can never remember.

Oh yeah, and then there's Eliza. I actually don't mind her, she's alright.

grrrrr:klingon: I was just too busy to catch last night's episode. Maybe it'll be on Comcast redo before next week.

Ozzy knows he's the leader, he knows he's pulling the strings. He would just like to make the others believe he isn't...

Why be upset? These days, there are many ways to catch the episode you just missed last night. One of them involves clicking on this link here:

CBS Website

With only one more click (on "Watch latest episode here"), you're suddenly watching it. Wait for Comcast to re-air it? This isn't 1983, SPOCKED!

Fantastic! Thanks, coaster - we'll try to squeeze it in tomorrow :)

 haha, is anyone still watching?

That tribal council was fracking amazing - the look on Ozzy's face and his after-show interview - hilarious^2. Especially after his making fun of Jason for giving up in the immunity challenge. :D

I have to say, I didn't see that coming. The producers always try to mess with the viewer's minds in that regard, I thought they just wanted to make it appear like Ozzy was in danger. Well played, Cirie&co.

Oh yeah that was awesome. I like Ozzy just fine the first time he was on and I don't remember him being such an arrogant jackass. So that awesome. I had just said to my girlfriend how stupid the players are for not taking out the strong competitors when they have chance, and after Jason's name kept coming up in the votes, I thought the producers had done it to us again. And then BAM! That was one of the best tribal council votes in recent memory.

The vote blew us away!! Best blindside ever... EVER  The look on Eliza's face said it all. And yeah, Ozzy was pretty cool before - but he's like most of the favs... a real snake. The look on his face was priceless -- sort of... how could you people do this to me??? lol This TC was really one of the best surprizes in a long time :techman:

What I found amusing wa how pised he was at the betrayal even though he gave his word and went back on it. LOL

I just hope Parvati, who I want to win, didn't just screw herself badly.

Yeah that was pretty awesome. This is what happens when you get too cocky! You should never just expect to be safe because of your alliance, especially when it's starting to get closer to the end. Eliza's look was great. And his little speech! He's lied to everyone, laughed about it, and called them stupid for it behind their back. But of course they should NEVER lie to him.

Can't stand her but I will give her credit for her (Ozzy) vote - probably the only good thing she's done in two seasons of Survivor (well... except look good in a bikini). But if the Favorites keep filling up the jury (and I hope they do) it's going to make for a real fun/ugly finale

Ozzy was right.

He was a fool.

No one felt like they could beat him in final 3. He should have known how big his target was even on his own alliance. He looked plenty pissed. He's probably going to make the final tribal interesting.

Cirie is the most dangerous player in the game. I think I said that initially. She is great at manipulating other people, and for some reason, she doesn't appear to be a threat. She seems to call the plays from sidelines while the heavy hitters take all the blows.

I want James to win, but the only reason he's still in the game is because there was bigger targets still around. Not anymore.

The girl power group will likely put him on the chopping block next.

I was kind of glad to see Ozzy get blindsided. He should have seen it coming: Even James (who was fooled into being voted out with 2 idols in his possession the first time around) knew that something was up. Ozzy may have been a good physical player, but he never did grasp the "Outwit" part of the game.

Both Amanda and James were left out of the loop, so it'll be interesting to see how that plays out next week.

Must of missed this thread. Oh well. That was one of the best Tribal Councils ever. I was totally shocked. It's totally made this game more unpredictable now.

Has anyone been watching the behind the scenes thing for the Jury members at Ponderosa. I'm glad CBS is doing this and it really is interesting to get more information on the Jury side as well as to see what happens after they get voted off. Ozzy was ticked.
