Most beautiful church / cathedral I've ever been in was Il Duomo in Milan
I'm a lapsed Catholic, but I really believe I had a religious experience in it.

I went to the local used book store and bought 6 books. I got one for my daughter, "How to Train a Dachshund". She has a miniature dachshund who rules the roost. I doubt this book will change anything, really.

I found some nice regular ones, but most of the shells on the beach had gotten brown somehow.
I also found a sepia which will make my friend’s parakeet very happy.

And apparently on the exact day of your second anniversary here, no less.

A little bit of math shows that you appear to have averaged almost 25 posts per day over those two years. As someone who has averaged (checks) about 1.2 per day, I can't quite wrap my head around that.

I found some nice regular ones, but most of the shells on the beach had gotten brown somehow.

That's usually only oxidized organic matter or dirt. Try toothpaste or a mild scouring agent and a toothbrush. Avoid anything acidic like vinegar or a cleaning agent containing chloride - it'll destroy the shells.

I was refering to the difference between 1.2 per day the board claims to be your average and the 25 posts @Avro Arrow estimated.
Btw, I make it an average of roughly 13.7 posts per day (10,000 posts : 730 days = 13.69863 posts per day).

Good thing today: on mardi gras we work only till 12 at my office and get the afternoon off =) YAY!

Sorry for any confusion... the 1.2 per day was my average, not the board's claim of @Discofan's average. We lost the "average post" statistic when we moved to XenForo.

I was going by @Discofan's actual post count at the time, which I forget now exactly what it was, but IIRC was somewhere around 18,200.

According to a recent thread in QSF, you need 16,000 posts to make Admiral (so I'm not entirely sure what your 10,000 number refers to), but presumably the promotion was held until his two-year anniversary due to the quasi-mythical time component, which nobody seems to remember what it is!
