Surely something good happened to you today

She was a little shy at first, but as soon as she figured out I love to give pets she got very attached.

How long are your nails? Are you able to grow them out yet?

Most of the cats and dogs I know love long nails! Kaylee was just getting some neck and muzzle scritches with my nails. I think she was in heaven. :adore:

The new water heater might be installed today- yeay!

It hasn't been a catastrophe- it was a slow leak but I was shop-vaccuming the basement two times a day and running a dehumidifier 24/7 so that's a relief.

Hooray for hot water! :happydance:

[EDIT] I just heard from someone I thought I'd hurt. Maybe I did, but they said I didn't, so I'm happier. :)

That is a relief. Talking to them does seem like the best way to address it than letting it malinger in case they were upset. If they were, now they know you didn't mean harm and wanted to rectify it as soon as possible.

Yum! What's on it? :)

I re-read a text from someone and it turns out I'd completely messed it up in my own mind the other day and there were no hidden messages in it and was actually quite pleasant to read again. I guess I should finally reply...

My emotions are getting the better of me lately, but they'll level out, eventually.

Toasted cheese ciabatta with Philadelphia (soft cheese), and several slices of prosciutto, toasted.

I was trying to recreate my first ever subway, but couldn’t remember what was on it.

I can’t say that I haven’t done that, lots of times.

I seem to remember that Life, Liberty and the Prosciutto of happiness are the three inalienable rights...;)

I love copycat recipes. KFC's coleslaw (online copycat - yikes this reminds me of another thread elsewhere :o) BUT the copycat coleslaw and chicken is pretty darn good. Macca's special sauce rip-off not too bad either.
