Surely something good happened to you today

I had a really good chat last night with a couple of ladies on another forum. I used Skype for the first time, ever.

We tried Discord two nights ago but the sound quality was really, really bad and one of the ladies couldn't connect her mic. She had the same setup with Skype and didn't change a thing and it worked, beautifully.

We're planning another voice chat tonight. :)

It’s passed 10am and I’m still in bed.

I love those times! :D

Got the weekend shopping done. Planted some potatoes and tomatoes with the kids. Got a bottle of Spanish white in the fridge. Now sat outside where the sun is shining, the bees are bumbling and the birds are tweeting, cows ruminate and amble round the pasture, the wind farm turns, the local train rumbles back and forth, and my eldest is reading a doctor who story aloud.

I can feel the vitamin D.

What a wonderful sounding day!

Last night I made a miraculous discovery. My arthritic knees were giving me hell so I fell asleep in my recliner which eases the ache without meds. While reclining, I lucked into a position in which my body found equilibrium - I felt almost weightless and sleep was awesome. Normally I'm up by 0500 - this morning I slept until 0845!

I've spent all day with very funny old friends of mine and was laughing so hard that my jaws are hurting.:D

I stumbled on a couple of ideas on Pinterest and now I'm getting some motivation to finish my hall closet, finally.

I may also bring in my drill press from my garage and work on some floating cat shelves and a wall-mounted cat scratching post.

How do you convince your cat to scratch there and not on your leather couch or some other place that you'd like to preserve?
