I only realized it today but it's a good possibility that the state will give me back some of the income tax I gave it (turns out they overestimated my revenue).

Holy crap. RNG was in my favor tonight. Got Moltres as my research reward in Pokemon Go! But some of the throws missed with him. Very weird. Got so ticked that I some how was able to make an excellent throw (not my vid, just an example showing the size of the circle for that throw, only I didn't throw a curved one)! He went into the ball thankfully. So happy. What a way to start off Christmas Eve! Thanks Niantic!

Had a lazy day. A very lazy day. A very very lazy day. The sun has gone down but me and the kids are still in pyjamas and surrounded by soft furnishings and wireless devices. I have done zero house work and we’ve sustained our selves by picking at leftovers.

I’ve done some writing though, little one has done some drawing. We’re easy.

I’ve had a nice day in town today. I found some art supplies I’ve wanted.

I've had dinner in a restaurant with friends and it was delicious.

Was able to find and get a $20 Nintendo eshop card. Got Stardew Valley and have enough left over for a new subscription to Pokebank (a Pokemon storage bank).

I did some writing and ended a chapter on a spooky mystery. I had a bacon, egg and mushroom toastie made for me, and I washed it down with an aged single malt.

And I still have time spare to write some more.

The good news for me today (at the very beginning of the day!) was that the wind was just right last night and all I heard were dull thuds (about four of them) and my cats hardly even noticed. Two of them came out of the back room, but not in a panic. Willow was too busy cuddling with me on the couch to notice.

The good news is that tomorrow I am buying new running equipment because the one I have is worn out. That means new shoes, new clothes.

I didn’t get much sleep last night, but I did get a huge snooze this morning! Win.

I slept in till ten. And, once the house work is done, we’re heading up to the border for a long weekend somewhere with a pool and no WiFi.

We were hoping for snow though, bloody weather.
