Going through our finances today, since we will have to get a new roof in the next year or two. So we got our all papers together, looked at what we inherited from my mother-in-law, and what we are willing to cash-in.

We will have our mortgage paid off entirely in about 8 or 9 months.A 30 year mortgage paid off in 15 years.

We hadn't had burgers in about 6 months so tonight we had dinner at Bernie's Burger Bus. No, it's not actually a bus. Well, there is a bus, but...it's a whole long story. You can Google it.

Best burgers in Houston, if you are ever in the area. We each ordered The Principle burger, which was great. No fries, though. We're trying to do better with our eating habits.

We came home, had fruit smoothies (mixed berries) and watched The Deadwood movie. A good day.

waking up was difficult to do today I did nothing all day except say little bits of art pastel on the current pad I am filling up with art .. I have not left my apartment all day errrr into the nite no outside influences mostly just having food to stay in my apartment and not worry about my next meal is great for today. I was influenced by fb friends watching the tony awards.. so that was good too.

I went to a reunion with former classmates who got their doctorate the same year I did. Turns out I am the only one who chose a quiet life in the countryside. I had kept in touch with only one of them. With the others, we had a lot of catching up to do.
