After United fucked around with my reservations regarding my upcoming trip to New York (I was originally supposed to have a nonstop flight from Omaha to Newark, then they changed it so I got a ridiculously short layover in Chicago), just a few short Twitter DMs got me a new nonstop flight.

Watched my granddaughter's basketball game. Fun stuff! 6 minute quarters and at the end of each quarter, each team lines up at their goal and each player gets one free throw. Each free throw point is counted in the total. This is new to me, but it's a lot better than when I was young and girls' basketball rules limited us to 3 steps when dribbling the ball.

I found a way to make a Donna Kebab at home using cheap formed lamb steaks from the freezer section. A bit of salad, garlic mayo, and a pita.

Not healthy, but wot evs.

I actually made an attempt to do something I've wanted to do and have had the ability to do for well over a year but have not been able to get the "courage", for lack of a better word, to do. I failed, but I tried.

Found an old family video that was filmed (and later put on tape) ages ago. I completely forgot about that one! It was odd watching people as kids or very young adults, that are now either mature like me, old or even dead (unfortunately)...

Doing a trade on FB. I was a teensy bit worried that something might not work out, but I've sent pics of a postage receipt and so have they. I get my package on Wednesday, they get theirs on Thursday (c'mon, USPS!!! WTH?!?).

I've found out that a change in tax legislation means that the government now owes me money.

It will begin snowing, yet again, tonight. That's not the good thing. The good thing is that it will be far less snow than they were expecting.

Was playing Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu last night and a shiny Pikachu showed up! Was doing a bit of hunting for one and it really surprised me when it showed up after only 23 encounters.

I "wrote" my first Maxscript today!

Okay, I copied and pasted sample code until it (mostly) accomplished what I wanted, just like every time I've coded with HTML or PHP.

Not quite ready for prime time but I hope to release it, soon.
