My Ulcer is giving me troubles I am pretty frustrated about the whole thing now. Since March this has been my life this darn ulcer! I called one of my friends and she always makes me feel better. I told her she is my wise friend. It made her laugh!
I came out of the grocery store and passed an Asian nail salon. An upscale-looking white dude was enjoying a pedicure from a very pretty young Asian lady. I thought, there's a guy who enjoys his fetishes, or else he is desperate for a solution to his toenail fungus.
Either way, they were both smiling and chatting. It's kind of tempting, but watching it, It feels wrong.
maybe he was just…getting his nails done? May not be any more complicated than that. 
It feels wrong to be watching or it feels wrong for the guy to get a pedicure?
I went to a used bookstore with my son and bought 5 books. 4 for me and 1 for him.

I thought about it, but then I realized after two + years of pandemic crap where I couldn't see family and friends, that this year I would celebrate.

I bought a $1,200 robot vacuum & mop in April last year. This was a Deebot T8 AIVI to replace the $1,200 Dyson Eye that had died a week before warranty expired and still took me 4 months to get a refund for.
Today, the Deebot stopped working because of a "bumper error". Deebot won't fix it because the warranty expired in April, and want me to spend the money out of pocket to ship it internationally for repairs, which would cost more than purchasing a new one and take two months.
I called Costco just to see what they would say and at first they said they couldn't return it but then give them a minute, see if they could do an exception because it was $1,200. I think because I purchased it online they were able to say the sale came from Montreal which put it in Quebec and meant that legally the return had to be accepted (and, in turn, they can stick Deebot with the bill).
So that was nice of the Costco rep.
Of course now I need a new robot vacuum and mop. Dyson & Deebot are out. iRobot is supposed to be overpriced (and now gives feeds of your house to Bezos) so I guess sim doing some research and cleaning my floors manually like a schmuck.
But I was really happy with Costco making it work. That was the something good

I went for a walk with a friend I haven't seen in a long time. It was so fun!
My week off was approved.
