So, I lost my cat Zoe three years ago Christmas and just recently started the process of looking for a new cat.
Monday, my brother called me to tell me that my sister in law's co-worker's cat had a litter of kittens - they had taken one, and there was one left, a male, and he asked if I was interested.
I said 'Yes', and arranged to pick him up Friday.
Today, my brother called to say that the cat had been sold.
It just so happened that the regional sales representative for the store was visiting and overheard my conversation with my brother.
She told me that the manager of another store she had just visited had a cat who just gave birth to kittens.
She texted her and the manager replied that there were two kittens left, a male and female, and that they came as a pair.
So instead of one kitten, I'm getting two.

I booked vacation days.
Hmmmmm I got cake, no seriously I got cake. I was ordering my usual hot chocolate in a take away cup and they were resetting all the displays on the counter with new food and they had this cake that they had to throw in the bin that was perfectly good but had to make room for new ones anyway I got a slice of cake for free.
The throwing perfectly good food in the bin thing did tick me off a little though.

I really don't have anything against Benson as a character but I admit I wish she'd stop hanging around Organized Crime. That's Elliot's show. Leave her out of it! SVU is her thing, OC is Elliot's. Why is it so hard for NBC to keep that shit separate?

Yep. Surprisingly. It's a mixed bag, episode wise though. Just saw a serial killer ep that seemed half baked. The cinematography, acting and pacing were good.
The ep from the week before was better. It had an early seasons SVU vibe to it that continued to OC. Loved it. Missed the humor and the more human characters.
Lmao... well you have to talk to the actors about that one. They're doing the story that they want to tell. Which in itself is amusing, since 15 years ago, everyone was strongly against it. I'm thinking due to SVU seeming to be nearer to end run. When I was a kid I LOVED Benson as a character. I didn't even know he spun off from Soap until I was an adult.
Going out to pizza just pick up but still it is an evening, kind of out, a date night of sorts...Covid has really changed date night!
