Suppose a transporter accident splits Picard into a Series Picard and a Movies Picard...

… how would they react to one another? What would they have to say to one another? How would the crew of the Enterprise react ? Who would the crew follow if it really came down to it?

(i.e. the "philosopher" Picard vs. "action hero" Picard). My own money still would be on Series Picard, though I'm very curious how each would regard the other…..

It’s funny you mention that since I just read the Ship of the Line novel where Picard observed that mission where Kirk is split with the holodeck. That book also explains the personality differences between the suppossed TV and movie versions of him.

Philospher Picard in the show was a fan of violent detective stories, punched people in the face on the bridge, and had a backstory revolving around a barfight. The movie version is just that guy pushed to the edge a little bit more.

But to play along with the idea...
Movie Picard runs into Show Picard trying to forcibly evacuate a colony and they get into a phaser duel. Movie Picard accidentally shoots Wesley in the process

Show Picard: Captain, you know as well as I do that we must evacuate this colony. We must follow Starfleet orders.
Movie Picard: "NO! NOOOOOOOO! *smashes model ship*

There's some talk above about two Picards...

Perhaps Picard will be duplicated in a transporter malfunction into thousand Picards and we get to see a different Picard in different situations in every episode.
