Supernatural

I'm catching up on Dean's and Sam's adventures.
Currently I'm on episode 10 of season 2: Hunted, so please no spoilers beyond that one.

So far I really like it. I was afraid it would be to much of a very formulaic MotW show.
But so far there's hardly any bad episode in the whole thing.
They constantly turn boring premises into something fresh and surprising.

It's also a good mix between stand-alone and myth-arc episodes.

But I've got a question. Is there a Supernatural soundtrack album out there featuring all the songs the show has used?
There are a lot of them that are really great for example Carry On My Sayward Son.

I checked Amazon (Germany) but couldn't find a soundtrack release.

I love Supernatural.

I am currently watching season 4 and I have seen the first 7 episodes. I will look at a couple more episodes tonight.

hmmm i dont think there was any soundtrack, but you'd have to either ask Dorian or Ms Wood on that one, they seem to be the resident Supernatural experts, around here.

Unfortunately there's no soundtrack. They tried, but couldn't get all the music rights released for a CD. Apparently getting the rights for the show and getting it for associated uses are two different things. The CW and Warners weren't interested in going the extra mile to make it happen. Welcome to the fold, Thingol and Miss Chicken.

Thankfully this show was made recently and negotiated the rights to the music for the DVD releases. It would have been horrible with new music for the DVD's. For a soundtrack you can always get some best of the seventies and eighties collections.

I run hot and cold on the show. I like it when I'm watching it but I don't feel the urgent need to watch the new one once I DVR it.
