Supernatural season four news

Still, they could get shirtless/naked a bit more often IMO. :p

Seconded! And more underwear in the bed shots...but that's just me.

I wish they'd bring back Missourri. Watched the episode from Season 1 she was in yesterday, and I wouldn't mind seeing her came back again for a guest appearence. Heck, if they need psychics to try and figure out how Dean got back......they already have her.

Loretta Devine is almost as busy as Jeffrey Dean Morgan. They've tried to get her back before. Hopefully they'll have more success later.

Gosh darn it, that scene at the end of "A Very Supernatural Christmas" gets me every time. I started misting up watching it again tonight. You can't say the L word to your brother, but you watch the game and drink egg nog and look like you want to say it so bad. That chemistry of theirs is lightining in a bottle. What is it about the male bonding schlock that's soooooo good?

Its one of the series best scenes. For a season that took a beating by many fans, it still produced some of my favorite scenes and favorite episodes.

Now if they would have just killed the kid and drug his bloody corpse up the chimney it would have been a classic.

Ouch, mswood! Ghoulish.

It's funny. Some of the hardcore fans didn't like the changes to season three, but it seems (at least to me) like the series got more buzz and notice in the blogophere this season. Every casual viewer I've introduced to the series this season has loved it. It's had some of the very best episodes of the entire series, "A Very Supernatural Christmas" being one of them.

As for more of the very vague spoilers they're putting out, (I love it, it tantalizes without giving too much away) here's another one:

Welcome to Anywhere, USA

.....A hot Illinois sun ripples the air above the battered pavement of a narrow rural road. A haggard-looking man is walking, none too quickly, towards the small red and green gas station he can see just beyond the “SPEED LIMIT 55” sign poking through the tall roadside grass.

As he nears the station, he can see the rusted-out hulk of an old Chevrolet station wagon and a slightly newer and less beat-up sun-bleached white sedan parked to one side.

From the look of it, the building has been here a long time. The concrete base of the old-fashioned crimson “Highway Chief” gas pumps is battered and chipped. The windows to the garage doors of the single mechanic’s bay are caked with grime. The stucco on the one-storey structure is cracked and the painted-on lettering that advertises LUBRICATION, TOWING and TIRES is faded.

The man manages to get inside the deserted garage, and while he’s exploring, he hears something. He winces at the apparently ear-piercing sound, desperately pouring salt along the window sill.....

Apparently Eric Kripke wanted to show the first ten minutes of season 4 at comic con to please the fans. But Singer nixed the idea partly because “10 minutes later, everyone on planet Earth will know about it” via the blogosphere.":(

They're being much more stingy with anything specific to do with spoilers this time around. You should hear some of the spoileraholics. It's as if TPTB have committed a personal affront by not posting scripts ahead of time. They're mad. :guffaw: Not irritated, but actually angry.

It's a bummer, but Singer probably made the right call nixing the 10 minute preview at the con. He's right about every teensy bit of info being all over cyberspace in a very short period of time. After the over the top hissy fits thrown in cyberspace last summer about Ruby and Bela, they've wised up.

Turns out the network isn't so stingy. They ran a few crawls during the rerun tonight, with spoilers.

Turns out we'll be meeting the boys' grandfather (no word if it's John's or Mary's father) in a flashback type episode. He'll be played by none other than Mitch Pileggi (Skinner of X-Files' fame). Kim Manners is really pulling in his connections from that show.

Also, the monster flicks' episode will be in black and white. Coolness!! :bolian: We'll also be seeing Henrickson, Ronald (mandroid man from Nightshifter) and Meg Masters again, probably as ghosts. No word whether it's demon Meg or the real Meg Masters who died when exorcised by Dean.

SyFy Portal just released the winners of their annual Genre Awards. Jensen Ackles won for Best Actor, and Supernatural won for best series.

Read about it here.
