TPTB know how to bring it on this show. Pushing all the right buttons doesn't begin to cover it. I enjoy it when they get to the point. We know what Sam's more afraid of than Alistair now. Wouldn't it have been nice if Nathan and Peter Petrelli could have "talked" like this? Or, you know, just talked? Have they spent more than five minutes together since season one? There was that hug in the police station before future Pete shot him. Then Nathan may have gotten mad, who knows?

Whoops.. I posted the same thing lol knew you would like this.. :>)) Still can't wait to see Sam kick Dean's ass! I think were you and I to ever watch this show in the same room we'd REALLY debate about the brothers! LOL

I'll have to watch the episode to see if that's TRULY the case. I know that's what it looks like but it may very well not be the case. And, quite frankly, Dean WOULD say that IMHO!

No, once again I gotta respectfully disagree. I think Dean could possibly say that if he were crazed with rage, but it would have to be the most extreme of circumstances possible--like if Sam did something unthinkable like killing Bobby when he was under the influence of the blood. Otherwise, no. The Dean in the clip, that's Sam's subconscious mind punishing itself. Sam hates himself at this point and he's terrified Dean won't love him. He's always harbored a fear of being different, becoming a freak because of what Azazel did to him in the nursery....then Dean said to him in Metamorphosis, "If I didn't know you, I'd want to hunt you and so would other hunters." A terrible thing to say that came out of Dean's fear. Dean didn't have any empathy left so soon after coming out of the trauma of hell. He didn't have the strength to be the same Dean who'd always taken care of Sam's emotional needs. It was downhill from that point on. Sam eventually went back to the blood drinking and became physically addicted.
