Supernatural five minute preview clip from comic con--slightly spoiler

It's slightly spoilerish of course, but nothing too major that people aren't already aware of, methinks. Oh, and for the one spoiler that might panic a few people, all is not as it seems. ;) The fangirls are squeeing like horny banshees in the background but it's not too bad and the quality of the cam is pretty good. It intrigues. It's from episode one, "Sympathy for the Devil," but it isn't the opening of the episode.

Supernatural season five preview

IMO, much better than wondering if Clark is gonna finally wear the suit (he won't). :p

cool thank you! Spoilers!!!!

I cant wait for the season to start. Interesting that Satan needs a vessel like any other angel. Im sure he wants Sam and i think some how and the end of the season Sam will give in.

Ashame that Castiel got blowed up into pieces.

Re: Supernatural five minute preview clip from comic con--slightly spo

I liked what I saw (for the most part) and I liked what was said during comic con.

They are going to end season 5 arc normally. Kripke is openly admitting that their might be a season 6 (not saying he will be still with the show or not).

I like that Dean and Sam aren't all happy and all is forgiven. Can't wait for Dean to hear the rest about Sam, and hopefully from Sam.

But we (meaning me) better also see Dean find out that Castiel is who freed Sam, that the angels (who he already thinks are lying bastards (rightfully so) helped push Sam over when they changed Dean's message.

In fact, I think I will be just a bit upset if Dean doesn't discover both, as he needs to hear what Sam did do (but also what helped push him to that point), not only for his and Sam sake but also to see what how seriously fucked up the angels are. But also needs to see how his sometime ally, Castiel is absolutely no innocent in this.

Love Dean's reaction to Sam's eyes turning Black (though from a character point yellow would freak Dean more, but Black just looks better on screen).

I wonder if we will see Sam seek to kill himself this season? Dean has tried in his own way (through recklessness), but I wonder if Sam will actually think about just ending his own life. I hope they go there.

And boy those "fans" are very mature aren't they?

Hummmm shoulders.....

Re: Supernatural five minute preview clip from comic con--slightly spo

Those girls are the worst. I just want to hit them to get them to stop screaming. Yes, the guys are very handsome, but shut up for a minute.

Re: Supernatural five minute preview clip from comic con--slightly spo

But Hot :censored: Shoulders....

Re: Supernatural five minute preview clip from comic con--slightly spo

That the Padalecki has the shoulders of a Greek god is beside the point.....

Hee. I loved that Chuck hit him with a toilet plunger. Even in the midst of hell on Earth, SPN never loses its humor.

DEAN: "I remember everything about hell. In hell, I had to act opposite Jessica Alba, Tom Welling and Kristin Kreuk... and there's no way I'm ever going back."

BWA HA HA HA HA HA!!!! :guffaw::guffaw::guffaw::guffaw::guffaw: Ain't it the truth? Nothing trumps the pure awfulness of daytime television. Though the charisma free Milo V is close, granted. Gosh, Heroes and Supernatural sure are going in different directions these days. Heroes isn't really adding a pair of lipstick lesbians in order to "diversify," is it? I'm so glad to hear that Kripke is going with the arc as planned and that, if there's a next year, they'll figure it out then. I'd rather they take their chances with next year than dilute this year's story. I still wonder where they can possibly go, though.

Yeah, Jessica and Kristin aren't exactly Meryl Streep and Amy Adams, are they? :wtf:

Yeah. I think Lucifer can't normally possess people. He's too big, evil, and powerful. He probably causes them to explode or something like that. So they had Sam and the rest of YED's Special Needs Kids custom made for him.

Re: Supernatural five minute preview clip from comic con--slightly spo

I have mentioned that one of my biggest fears about a 6th season isn't a fear in a dramatic drop in quality or the possibility of losing Kripke, it was that the CW would fold and thus leave us the fans without a solid conclusion.

So I am glad that the writers are using this season to end that part of the show.

I honestly think if the show still can deliver the ratings (and thats a big if) and if the Cw doesn't fold that they could certainly do material for another season.

For me the biggest part of the show has always been the relationship of the brothers and the character journey both are on both as individuals and has a family.

And truly, I think there is a lot of personal baggage that both brothers would need to deal with after the ending of the Angel/Demon war.

I mean how can Dean truly deal with the actions he set in motion when they are still occurring? How can Sam deal with the ramifications of what he set in motion when they are still occurring?

Dean had to deal with his actions to the degree that he was able to functions as a hunter, but that doesn't mean he has truly dealt with things.

And Sam is just going to be starting that journey.

Of course a lot of this all depends on what the writers have in plan for the end of these characters.

From Watch With Kristin

Eleanor in Salt Lake City: Any new news on Supernatural?
Jim Beaver told us to expect a huge Bobby-related twist early in Supernatural's fifth season. He says, "There's something pretty big that happens with Bobby in the first episodes. Really big. It's going to have a huge impact on his relationship with the boys—but I don't know what that impact is, because I've only seen the first three scripts.

Jim Beaver mentioned at Comic Con that something in the scripts about Bobby "made his jaw drop." So, what is it?

He's dying? could really put his blow up at Dean in perspective--make up with family before it's too late.

He's been spoken to by God, perhaps?

He found out he's related to the boys?

He's also responsible for the apocalypse?

Re: Supernatural five minute preview clip from comic con--slightly spo

I'm just happy about all the returning faces from past seasons that were mentioned.

Re: Supernatural five minute preview clip from comic con--slightly spo

Oh yeah. Ellen, Jo, Rufus, (the hunter from "Time is on our Side" that Dean had to bring a bottle of Johnny Walker to) Chuck, Jessica, Meg.....our cups overfloweth with goodness and excellent demon badness.

Re: Supernatural five minute preview clip from comic con--slightly spo

Ellen, Jo, & Chuck:The Prophet are high points of what to look forward to this season...

However, I really want to see if Ash survived the Roadhouse *ka-BOOM*

Re: Supernatural five minute preview clip from comic con--slightly spo

Richard Speight, Jr's facebook fan page confirms that he'll guest star again as the Trickster. As crazy as this show is, sometimes I wonder if the Trickster isn't God. Seems too powerful to ever get killed, and he was trying to teach Sam a valuable lesson, but left him to make his own choices. Maybe the Trickster only kills people who really do deserve it.

Re: Supernatural five minute preview clip from comic con--slightly spo

Yay! The Trickster rules. Glad he'll be back.

Re: Supernatural five minute preview clip from comic con--slightly spo

^Nice news. Hadn't heard that bit of casting yet.
