I wouldn't be surprised if there's an evil creature or two hiding somewhere in the Men of letters HQ. It's very likely that they'll do an episode where Sam and Dean are trapped in there with something evil.

He spent a year living with a woman while Sam was in that pocket with Lucifer and Michael.

Like Lisa and Ben, Dean seems to have forgotten that year ever happened. It's the only explanation for the way he treated Sam early on in this season.

Love Dean the character, but he can be judgmental when it comes to Sam. He's heroic but very flawed. I suppose that's why I enjoy the characterization on this show so much after all these years. In March, Ackles will be only 4 years younger than Jeffrey Dean Morgan when he started playing John Winchester in season one.
Morgan was only 39 at the time.

It's amazing how different he looks when he puts on just a little muscle weight. He always loses a little to film Sherlock because, according to him, Sherlock shouldn't be burly looking--but it's all in his face. Those angular cheekbones disappear and it completely alters his look. He's far more sinister looking without the angular face.
