Supernatural 7x21 "Reading is Fundamental" spoiler/discussion thread

I assume Kevin is also a being that can't be duplicated by the Levi's (at least the mind aspect). So I would assume they aren't utterly stupid and would want to keep Kevin alive long enough to get the info and what that tablet says (we have no idea if they can actually read it themselves).

They would also want to know if that information had been in others hands. At this point they would have no idea that Sam and Dean would have access to that intel.

Though, I have to say I take issue with the fact that some beings "Spark" can't be duplicated, when they can process the vastly more alien mind of an angel.

Of course perhaps thats only because Castiel actually took them into him. They didn't technically duplicate his body.

So what do you think confirmed 23 episodes next year. We will get to 172 episodes for the little show that barely got renewed for a third season.

Besides the X-Files 9 seasons has any other supernatural themed show made it this far.

I'll assume that's a question, even though you don't ever use question marks. ;) (kidding)

The only long-running supernatural-themed show I think of is Dark Shadows; it had over one thousand episodes, but it was also a daytime soap opera, so it's in a slightly different category.

Excellent episode. I hope the ending doesn't mean squat and we see Kevin again.
I too thought "Oh SHIT! Took those angels out just like that? I hope we get some answers too how that can happen soon.
Good to see Cass yet again and was screaming at my wife when Hester almost took care of him.
Looking forward to seeing Crowley next week.

I think that's kinda been answered already.

God created the Leviathans before the Angels. He apparently created them just a little too powerful or whatever though, banished them to purgatory. When he created the Angels he didn't make the same mistake again, they were dumbed down just a bit, and made to be his army. That's what I gather.

So, it makes sense a Leviathan then is more powerful, in certain ways, than an Angel. Yet, in other ways, Angels do have some pluses, like being able to appear anywhere instantly.

As Snick suggested above, I wonder how an Ark Angel would do against one, I bet it'd be one heck of a fight.

It kind of seems like the older a thing is, the more powerful it is.

So basically it sucks to be the baby of the family. :p

It's "Archangel," from the Greek arkh/arche (ruler, top level). An Ark angel would be an angel on the boat with Noah.

While I would never compare a daytime show to a broadcast primetime show, I actually had forgotten about Dark Shadows.

Hard to say how an Arch Angel would do, but since they are dead, or in Hell (Hi Lucy and Mikey hug and make up), at least per the Angel Hierarchy of Supernatural. We probably will never know.
