He should be a flunky. Lucifer is the top dog in the world of this show, not Samhain.
Ever think that maybe -- just maybe -- your take on Samhain may not be who you think he was? Especially since every single post you blather on about it has you referring to someone else entirely?Lucifer is an angel, Samhain, or the god that rules on that day, is the single most powerful GOD, except one but he does bring forth the death of that one on Samhain.
And that maybe -- just maybe -- within the show's universe, Samhain was the entity of whom the celebration had been named and the lore revolving around it was corrupted as the centuries rolled by? Pretty much like everything else in the show?
No. Screw that. Let's get our panties in a twist and whine and stomp like a two-year-old instead. Much better call.

Uh, no, not like pretty much everything else in the show. We've come across two Pagan gods in the past, one we've seen in two episodes. The first was a god of harvest, that housed in a scare crow. The other is a trickster god that can warp reality to his will. I'm disappointed they didn't deal with Halloween / Samhain in a similar way, and reduced such a magic event to a mere demon.Pretty much like everything else in the show?
Exactly where did I get my panties in a twist? One is not allowed to be disappointed on some thing? We must be "All hail Kripke, he can do no wrong" 100% every step of every episode? We can never be critical? Never be disappointed in a way the show handled something? No. Screw that. Let's get our panties in a twist and whine and stomp like a two-year-old instead. Much better call.
EDIT--Cool, some of the more religious fans are getting offended by the depiction of angels.Excellent. Controversy.

BZZT! Sorry. No, I don't refer to someone else with every post I make about it.
No, Samhain is not named after someone. Samhain isn't someone AT ALL.
Samhain is a day, 31 oktober, and it means one very simple thing: Summer's End.
It's calendar celebration and the gods associated with it, and has nothing to do with any person.
Yes, pretty much like everything else in the show. They take myths, legends, and stories and "re-imagine" them within the context of the show.Uh, no, not like pretty much everything else in the show.Pretty much like everything else in the show?
I have no problem discussing the show. You, on the other hand, seem to only want to whine and pout about what you want the show to be rather than what the show is... and make up all kinds of bullshit just to give yourself fuel for these asinine rants. If that's the case, why even bother discussing the show; we all know the only thing written down will only be: "All hail Kripke, he can do no wrong."![]()

That right there is you referring to someone else. In the show, the character we saw was Samhain. YOU keep referring to someone OTHER than Samhain. Every. Single. Time. You Mention. The Character.
Are you really too dense to get that? You say Samhain isn't a character then go on and on and on and on and on about all these other entities. Hello. McFly.
