Superman Vs The Eite DTV Casting News

This movie seems to be coming out pretty soon after the latest one, and the animation in the trailer seems somewhat more basic, more TV-grade than the feature-grade stuff of previous films. Was this rushed into production?

And I can see the relevance of "Brave New Metropolis" as a bonus episode, but "Warrior Queen"? Well, I guess it's about Superman teaching a dictatorial figure to be more compassionate, so then again, it kind of fits.

And why can't people remember the spelling of the word "peek" when it's prefaced by "sneak"?

-Sneak Peak at Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1, the next DC Universe Animated Original Movie

I find myself wondering if the two parts will ever be released in one package later on.

I'm sure they will be at some point.

As for the animation level of Superman Vs. The Elite, they might have given it a lower budget than usual to free up money for the two-part The Dark Knight Returns, especially if they're planning on releasing the two parts closer together than the normal time between releases.

Audio commentary is back...that's cool. I think All Star Superman had commentary on th Blu-Ray from Grant Morrison. They'd not done one though for a while before then.

The movies with Showcase shorts didn't have commentary tracks. Once they dropped the Showcase shorts they added commentaries back in. Batman: Year One had the Catwoman short and a commentary because the movie came in at a running time of just 64 minutes, so they made a short with the extra money.
