A great new look at the suit (and at Hoechlin in it, for those so inclined):

So they redesigned the suit to look more like the Henry Cavill wore in the DCEU films.

What looks like a trompe-l'œil of the "S" rather than actually making it embossed is driving me nuts. In the leaked backstage photo a few posts back, it also looked like his muscles were printed on the suit. It's really weird. I almost wonder if this isn't some kind of stunt or stand-in version of the suit, because the season poster makes it all look like like it has actual depth and not just airbrushed shadows.

Well, keep in mind that the paparazzi location photos are not under controlled lighting conditions, not to mention modern post-production image processing.

I wouldn't be surprised if they had multiple versions of the suit for doing different kinds of activities.

A renewal for season 2 is probably waiting to be announced until after the series debuts. Unless the Pilot has shockingly bad ratings it’s a sure thing. The name recognition alone will get good ratings regardless of individual opinions of whether people like the Pilot or not.
