News Superman & Lois Ordered to Series at The CW

I'm 45 going on 46 next month and my beard would be mostly white if I grew it out.

I turn 45 in 16 days. I got a little grey but mostly still black hair except for a beard when I have one. Also tons of thick hair. I doubt I will ever go bald. I guess I will never get to do that thing bald people do and lick each others heads when alone in elevators and whatnot.

Um.....what?

I think the show got better after it came back from being cancelled. It became even more edgy and less of a replica of "The Simpsons."

Inde Navarrette (Sarah Cushing) and Alexander Garfin (Jordan Kent):

I'm guessing the reason Garfin isn't masked is because (at last report) shooting is set to begin this week, and the actors have presumably been quarantined and tested so thoroughly it isn't necessary -- they are going to have to film scenes together, after all.

Put down the crack pipe and back away slowly. Seek psychiatric help too.:wtf:

New recurring cast member added:

https://ew.com/tv/superman-lois-cast-sofia-hasmik/

EW has exclusively learned that Sofia Hasmik (Mad About You) is joining the Arrowverse drama in the recurring guest-star role of Chrissy Beppo.

A journalist at the Smallville Gazette, Chrissy "has a knack for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time," according to the official character description. "A go-getter with dreams of bigger and better things, a chance encounter with her idol changes her life trajectory. "

I'm guessing her idol is probably either Lois or Clark.

Probably Lois. In most modern portrayals, Lois's fame as a reporter eclipses Clark's. And I figure they'd probably want to go with a female character looking up to a female role model, as with Kara and Cat Grant.

Oh, I wasn't sure if one was more admired than the other, so I just included both of them.

True, but it could be Clark because he's from Smallville himself and she may well admire the whole 'local boy makes good' aspect. I would imagine in Smallville people are quite proud of his achievements.

Fair point. There's a nice bit in the great graphic novel, Superman for All Seasons, where someone comments that Smallville has probably the only small-town general store in the Midwest that carries the Daily Planet.
