Superhero Movie -- Suprisingly Entertaining

I saw Superhero Movie today with very low expectations. I was blown away. It was hilarious, and some of the best stuff the Zuckers put out in years. It did exactly what Airplane! did, except with Superhero movies. Airplane spoofed Airport '77 and it's sequels. Superhero Movie spoofs Spider-Man 1, X-Men 1, and Batman Begins. It's not just a bunch of gags thrown together like Epic Movie, and Meet the Spartans. It's an actual story. I noticed there hasn't been any activity regarding this movie. Go check it out! You might end up having a fun time.

I plan on seeing it tomorrow with the little nephews and nieces. That guy Josh/Drake (I can never remember) is a funny guy.

I was pretty wary of this movie too after the horrible Epic Movie and downright trash that Meet the Spartans was. I may check it out now.

I saw it today with the nieces and nephews ... It wasn't quite laugh-out-loud funny, but it was entertaining. Just like the other "spoof" movies made by the same people, it contained crude humor and strong language, especially for pre-teen viewers. I'd give it a C+.

I've been way too wary of it because of the lame amount of terrible movie parodies like Meet the Spartans, Epic Movie, etc., after the few good Scary Movies...
I'm still pretty wary of it, though I might see it...the trailer didn't seem that amusing...

When it comes to parodies, you MUST look at the writers, directors and producers. If there's a Wayans listed anywhere, stay away.
