Yeah, after the mishandling of them in DSC I'm in no rush to see more of them in Kurtzman/CBS All Access Trek unless it's Worf. Or animated ones in LD.

More like if they show them in any of the current eras it will be back to the Berman era one note BS.

I have mixed feelings about it, but I wanted something totally unexpected and I guess that what I got.

Even if the Burn itself was a bit underwhelming, the character moments it led to on the failing holodeck were worth it.

Also while we’re on the topic of Klingons, I like how DSC gave them a lot more depth and nuance. They felt like an actual empire, not just a bunch of honor-and-glory thugs.

I was slightly disappointed, but, to be honest, I don't know what I was expecting. To say that it was something I couldn't have predicted doesn't necessarily mean that I thought the idea behind it was good, but it WAS refreshing in that it was more a disaster and not some sinister plot by a brutal enemy.

Maybe upgrade it to Jimmy Carter this time.
