Super!Archer!? Not really

Maybe, but the Romulans had lived on Romulus, a much more Earth-like planet than Vulcan, for quite some time by then. Their ship's environmental settings were probably very similar to the Enterprise's.

Maybe a 1000 years or so. Not really a long time in evolutionary terms.

Plenty long enough to acclimate to the new environment, especially when going from a hot, dry, high gravity environment to a humid, cool, lower gravity one. Just look at how astronauts' bodies begin to adapt themselves in a zero-g environment even in the week or so that they're in space.

Otherthan its not a desert world, how much do we know about Romulas? Is it of a lower gravity than Earth?

We don't know gravity, but from the establishing shots it's very green and its capitol city is right next to a large body of water. Plus human characters that have been on Romulus never complained of any of the problems they did while on Vulcan.

Kirk takes out a Romulan on a Romulan ship in "The Enterprise Incident" with just a few "karate" moves. I assume the ship had an environment comfortable for Vulcanoids.

but we know even as far back as that episode that there were enough differences between vulcans and romulans for enterprise to scan the ship and get spock out.
in tng we learn the differences between vulcans and romulans have become pronunced enough that vulcans cant always give blood to romulans.
so we dont know how apt is the comparision.

and going back to amok time kirk had a very pronunced problem with it once he went past just walking around to actual combat.
