Hey, everybody. It's been a couple of weeks since I produced anything, so I thought it was time for something new. :)

It's inspired by the ending scenes in Star Trek 6. I always loved that scene with the Enterprise and Excelsior flying side by side...

I hope it's lens-flarey enought. :)

Any chance you could turn DOWN the lens-flare?? *ouch*

Love the composition, but it's too bright/irritating to use as a wallpaper like that... IMO.

Cheers,

How big? The original is 1680x1050...

That's what I run my monitor at because that's the highest it'll go.

You should always make these available in various sizes so that people don't have to keep asking for this size or that one. Saves you the trouble of having to keep digging it out and re-cropping and re-rendering. Just do all the sizes in one session in one night and be done with it.

Hey, wow, wonderful as always...I'd forgotten about that Kelvin/Constellation design. I have too many folders with too many downloaded pics...I need to organize someday.

This reminded me of something I was thinking about awhile back, a PS filter that "Abramizes" an image:) Lens flares turned up to 11, crazy angles, shakey camera...
After that you would probably need a display option that could "polarize the monitor" :)

*I hope you don't mind, I used this image to experiment with...your colors and composition are great, didn't alter your original, just threw some layers on top, only as an experiment in getting that over-the-top "Abrams film look". :) (Plus my own spacescapes kinda suck :)

Anyway, great work, looking forward to the next.

You can chop my images up any way you want, I don't mind. :)I'd like to see what you came up with. :)

That's what I usually do. I keep the 1680 one for myself, and normally put out a 1440x900 and a 1280x1024. I'll probably start just putting out a 1680 one, from now on.

Very nice... It is a nice little homage to the original Trek universe.

I like the second one better. Even though we can't see as much of the ships as the first.

awesome work, thanks!

as for size, i always download the largest version possible, and let my system scale it down if necessary. i have several systems, running at different resolutions, and i'm not about to get specific images for each.

I really like the revision dude. More subtle than the first, and the planetary detail is really cool
