I actually started this story here originally, but there are technical limitations to posting stories in this forum that I find super annoying, so I continued it at my usual fall back at Good Ol' fanfiction.net. Of course, that means many of you have been deprived of this story's greatness since I've updated it after the switch.

Finally got a chance to read this. Really liking the story and the characters. The science behind the strange encounter is fascinating and feels compelling and the right amount of odd yet believable. The characters are by far the best part though. Firstly, kudos on the female-centric command crew, that's pretty cool and not something we get to see very often. Their banter and conversations are a lot of fun to read.

Is there going to be more? I've noticed you have a few one-shots with these characters and I'll likely pass my time with those until there's another chapter.

Thanks for the good word, CeJay! Actually, you've probably already read the one shots because they were both posted here originally, and at least one was a contest entry.
