he isnt that desperate for work, he has been in Heroes recently, to the best of my knowledge he still does the Howard Stern radio thing, and if he was really desperate make some money being a spokesman for gay issues on the 24 hours news channels.

I dont see why he needs to do this.

Has to be better than his turn singing country music on Secret Talents of the Stars. We may love George for being Sulu but the guy is a C-level celebrity and does seem to crave the elusive spotlight at any opportunity.

Yeah, good point, he's still not a recognizable face and he does indeed crave the spotlight. I'm sure he's loving all the reboot talk because he's kind of back in top of mind awareness for people again.
