This may seem a strange question to ask on a Star Trek fan fiction forum, but does submitted work have to be Star Trek related? Or would people mind if I submitted some of my own original works? The reason I ask is I have lurked on trekbbs for years and feel comfortable here. I have recently decided to try getting some of my ideas out of my head and onto paper/screen.

That's my understanding as well. So long as the Trek fanfic outweighs fic of any other franchise or genre, it's all good. Post away, and welcome to the board!

Well, it may be a while before I actually have something. I am sort of ADD and OCD at the same time, hehe. I tend to get stuck working on something for hours and then drop it for something else. Currently I am working on a ship design that I have posted on Trek Art. I just wanted to clarify what was acceptable here before I posted something. If and when my attention turns that way, lol.
