I was going to say that but I thought it had to be another actor from Star Trek.
Perhaps Q's crazy cousin is named Mork?
Well, perhaps, but I don't think I was the first one to post a non-Trek actor.
Btw, I also thought "sub for John De Lancie" was going to be about something else.
Tony Todd would be good too. The man's awesome at every role he's played in Trek.
Cumberbatch would have been a great 11-year old Q in 1987.
You know, I'd actually forgotten for a minute that he actually *played* a Q!
Robbert Knepper who was T-Bag from prison break.
T-Bag was like a more mischievous Q but without the powers.
"Picard! You spoke French! You know how that drives me mad with passion."
^ And doesn't Lady Q give off a huge Morticia vibe?
"Don't torture yourself, Q. That's my job."
Speaking of Addamses: How about Christopher Lloyd as a Q? I can totally see that.
You know Christopher Lloyd would pull that off quite well I think. Certainly he's versatile enough to cover Q's mood swings.
Nah, then they'd have to change Q's name to Bruce.
Eddie Izzard or Tim Curry.
