So, I was checking out Trekyards on Youtube the other day, (I really like those guys) and they had an ep promoting The Romulan War fan-film, and in that fan-film they showed a glimpse of a Romulan Stormbird that was made for the film (they also repurposed my TMP Rom BoP for a type of Rom bop in the war) . Afterwards, I then followed a link to Trekyards review of the actual ship. I found the general shape pretty solid, but I wanted to try my hand at it. So This is my version of that ship, if I were to have designed her for that fan-film.

When I first saw the top view of the Winged Defender from FASA--I thought it was like the TOS Bird Of Prey--and the side view (showing that it really was a bird-shaped ship) confused me.

Something of an idea. Look at the top view of the FASA Winged defeder--but make the impulse a side by side plasma weapon--reverse the direction.

The top view reminded me of those Feddie saucer cut-outs with dual torps...
