Stupid people on the internet

So I wanted to find out just how gullible people who are too lazy to work for cash are. So I went to 4chan's /b/ board, famous for lazy, pretentious slobs and posted a thread stating the following:
"Every dub itt gets $25 via paypal or direct wire"
(dub refers to a random anomoly in the user's post number, callsign referring to the number of the post they just made. "itt" means "in this thread")
within five minutes, there were thirty people posting, partially fueled by the fact that I myself got dubs on my original post. within ten minutes, there were a hundred and fifty. I went to have dinner at that point but I only assume it topped off at 250-some odd posts, which is the max. in those minutes I was there, 14 people posted their paypal accounts. I thought to myself, REALLY??
