I didn't formulate a theory about what causes the sounds. I am just posting the available evidence that the sounds exist.

Good info. According to this the going theory is that the noises are tectonic activity that is too weak to feel. It does not state the the noises are just a hoax.

I didn't say they were a hoax. I just rolled my eyes at the website's insistence on calling them "apocalyptic" sounds, as the video calls them as well.
