Should we expect SNW novels to have dates later than DSC S2 Final episode?

Probably. Unless there's something key to the show's backstory that happened before then, I suppose they might tell that story in a novel.

I will note that it only took me 42 and a half hours to realize this was about a new Pike series (that once again, I will see when it comes out on DVD), and not about a new iteration of the "new authors contest" prose anthology series. (And CLB, please note that I did not say "fanfic"!)
