That happens a lot with Dr Who - just ask Bonnie Langford...

It's the repetition that clinches it!
I recently watched the New Beginnings trilogy with "The Keeper of Traken," "Logopolis," & "Castrovalva."
"The Keeper of Traken" is a decent story, probably the best of the trilogy. Anthony Ainley is suprisingly charming & sympathetic as Tremas. Tom Baker seems extremely irritable about still being on the show early on but eventually settles into a decent, Doctorly performance. Mostly, he seems annoyed that he's stuck playing against Adric. Nyssa is fun.
"Logopolis" is a suitably epic farewell for Tom Baker. Actually, it's a lot better than I remembered it. However, it doesn't quite feel right having him playing opposite Adric, Nyssa, Tegan, & the Anthony Ainley Master, all characters that I associate as icons of the Peter Davison years. I'm a bit confused by the tech and the ending though. And did the large portion of the universe (including Traken) that got destroyed at the end get somehow reinstated? Otherwise, it seems like a hell of a body count for a Doctor Who story.
"Castrovalva" can be a bit obtuse & frustrating but I like the weird bit with the space repeating itself, and when the Doctor tries to explain it to the Castrovalvans by having them draw a map of the city. Peter Davison seems charming enough, and does some great Hartnell & Troughton impressions early on.
over the past two days i watched Terminus, Enlightenment, The King's Demons, The Awakening, Frontios, and Planet Of Fire.
Enlightenment has some interesting concepts and i would have liked to seen a bit more of the Tegan/Marriner angle. The King's Demons was alright but very short. also, the idea of The Master intent on erasing Magna Carta was a bit silly.

I finished The War Games. It was quite intriguing in the beginning, but during the middle episodes it dragged somewhat, due to being rather repetitive (Doctor and companions get captured, then flee, then get captured again and so on). The final two episodes take up considerable speed again, and in the last, the series transcends its often silly facade when the Doctor explains why he ran away from the Timelords. I was sad to see him go. Poor Two. 
The next day, I watched Spearhead From Space, not expecting too much, because Pertwee's first season seems to have a bad reputation, but I was dragged into it and watched the whole serial. The third Doctor is just awesome. Seems like he gained some bling and a mean-looking tattoo during regeneration (I guess he can count himself lucky he didn't get a tramp stamp.). I love how he nonchalantly steals clothes and a car, flirts with Liz Shaw, tries to betray the Brigadier and casually leans against things.
The story was a great introduction to the Autons. I think it's a brillaint idea to use the fear of those faceless shop dummies many of us have and turn them into mindless monsters.

Well, it could have been two episodes shorter, but it's fun.
Yea, 10 episodes is too long, and even moreso watching it on Youtube in 16 chunks, but, a good story despite the length

So, I watched Time Crash finally, it was great, interesting that Peter Davison was Tennant's favorite.
Also watched this strange thing called Dimensions in Time, with the Rani, and all manner of Doctors and companions, and the really strange thing was I kept seeing East Enders characters popping up. It was fun, was that a Children In Need also, privately produced (The Talk Show setting lends it credibility of being legitimate) or Fan made?
Anyways, once I got over the shock of the Eatenders and the cheesiness it was pretty cool.

I'd say Davison was more Moffat's favourite, who wrote Time Crash, at least if we only go by the dialogue in this episode. I'm not sure Tennant ever said who his favourite Doctor was. He probably did at some point, but I can't remember.
The Doctor character Tennant played, drooled over how Davison was his Doctor. Now, if that was written for Tennant or for the Writer, (and Tennant had to act it) could be debated, but, I'd like to think Moffat wouldn't force that upon Tennant if it wasn't at least partially true

Well yea...but, when you have him saying he got the high squeaky voice from him, and the "MY Doctor" line and all that, it feels more personal
