Stop TBS!

POST.JPG
.

you sir have won this thread :D

Got to say, I'm pretty impressed with myself on that one too.

:)

Thanks for reminding me to check in on the Bill Engvall show.

They kind of timed it perfectly with Peter saying 'What was that for?!' Makes me want to completely ingnor anything Bill Engvall comes up with. I mean come on. Could that show last as long as Family Guy? I give it 1 season, 2 tops. This, and other factors have compelled me to just stick with DVD. They stream Family Guy episodes on TNT, and FOX don't they? Heck, even the new season of Battlestar Galactica is being streamed along with all the other programming. I can project my Computer to my TV. What's the point of watching a forced schedule, with so many interuptions now, even on FOX and other big shows? Smallville and 24 are getting worse for ads like, stay tuned for Supernatural, or Stay tuned for some reality show!

And it looks like these little ads come just before they're about to go to commercial anyway. Holy crap, TBS, you can't wait three more seconds?

EDIT: Just realized the whole point of doing the ad like this is so people will see it. :p Oh well, I won't delete my post, so feel free to mock me!

Well family guy has made a mint by stretching so very little over a long period. If they could do it, why not everyone else.

Oh, don't be silly folks. A little advertisement never hurt anyone.

Nice.

Oh wow, I just watched that clip. They might as well not run shows anymore and just do commercials all the time. :p

It reminds me of those Flash ads that pop on top of whatever website you are trying to read, ruining the whole point of visiting the site to begin with.

Companies will get away with as much as they can until people bitch them into stopping.

A good solution to avoiding the Flash ad problem is to simply use a web browser without Flash player installed, and/or Flash player disabled. Makes using the web a lot better of an experience IMO.

A good solution to the TV stations BS is to never watch anything on those channels. Watch the show only on alternative sources instead.

"Bitching them into stopping" won't ever work unless it is also combined with those same eyeballs not watching the screen any more.
