There is a lot of mystery that surrounds Stonehenge to say the least. Is it an ancient ritual site? Is it a means to track the stars movements or is the structure something much more simple?
I was reading through the article linked below and came to the image of
The Brú na Bóinne World Heritage Site - https://www.ancient-origins.net/news-history-archaeology/passage-tomb-ireland-021978
Large pillars of solid rock as tall as a man and slightly taller line the passage way and the main chamber resemble rocks at Stonehenge. Sod has been placed over the stones to create the interior of the tomb.
I think that Stonehenge was the beginning of a burial tomb or living quarters that when finished woul have looked like the Bru na Boinne.
