STO - Weekly Episodes: Series 2 -SPOILERS-

I just took a look at the event calender which makes me very excited for the next weekly series.

So if you don't want to be spoiled don't read further.




The new enemy will be an old one, namely the Devidians who return in force this time.

It will be 5 episodes long again and contain seemingly very varied missions.

Deep undercover investigation involving Dabo will be one of them apparently. Makes me wonder if this will be a James Bond homage.

They also hint at getting the help of a legend and old friends. Possible timetravel would be nothing new with the Devidians.
Some thumbnails on the STO webpage show an interiour that looks like the old constitution engineering room. This could mean the option for classic interiours on our own ship as series reward perhaps? That would be beyond awesome!!!

The build that went onto the test server tonight has a slight sneak peak at them. Every ten or so minutes the station phases, and you can see a Devidian run from the Dabo room into the main bar area before it all returns to normal:

Nice. Looks like they toned down the old seizure inducing phasing effect from "ghost ship". Looks better.

You know, I saw a lot of art asset files in the build that went up last night. but how in the heck are you able to load them up and walk your chharacter through them? Is there another public domain 3D engine that'll read Cryptic 3d art files?

That's all live on the Tribble test server now, if you go to Drozana Station in the Klingon neutral zone you'll find a new room has opened up, and every ten or so minutes that Devidian will phase in.

Nice I got in...i have a holodeck and tribble icon on my launcher. I assume the holodeck is the actual game? I didn't screw up my launcher did I? lol
