STEPHEN KING'S dark tower series both comics and books:

Well, Salem's Lot is kind of a prologue in some respects, though only as far as one character and some concepts are concerned.

now is there a reading order for these books or is this it since there connected to the dark tower universe.

Here's a reading order that incorporates and intermingles the 7 DT novels with the connected material as mentioned on King's official site that I created myself based mainly on the specific ways in which King himself says that the 15 novels I mentioned connect to the main DT storyline:

The Talisman
The Gunslinger
Insomnia
The Eyes of the Dragon
The Drawing of the Three
Salem's Lot
IT
The Waste Lands
Wizard and Glass
Little Sisters of Eluria (from Everything's Eventual)
The Stand
Skeleton Key (specifically The Mist, Mrs. Todd's Shortcut, and The Jaunt)
Desperation
Regulators
Wolves of the Calla
Black House
Hearts in Atlantis
From a Buik 8
Song of Susannah
Everything's Eventual (the short story found in the novel of the same name)
Rose Madder
Bag of Bones
The Dark Tower

BTW, I listed only those novels which King lists on his official website as having connections to the DT series, although there are apparently other novels that contain connections to it as well.

I'm almost finished reading Wizard and Glass, DT book4. Roland's "prequel" is done and we are back with Eddie and the gang.

But the telling of the tale, and Susan's final fate...man, that was a heartbreaker.

When King is good...

I enjoyed the bag of bones mini series on a&e but I was wondering how it tied into the dark tower universe?

Sara Laughs is the "twin" to Cara Laughs... and Ralph Roberts from Insomnia makes an appearance in the novel.
