Stephen King Binge

Definitely Misery. While I agree in large with Oddish's assesment of the differences between book and film, I still found it to be an excellent adaptation, better so than most books adapted into films. I have the adaptation of Dolores Cleiborn on my to-watch list too, curious to see how they'll do it.

As King himself said, sometimes a given event in a book doesn't transfer well to the screen. That was why he as approved of the "Cujo" movie having a more upbeat ending.

Just did the Time Warp: I like to rewatch `It´. But I don't like the remake. Nobody can be as scary as Tim Curry as Pennywise. I wouldn't buy a remake of DS9 with someone else as Dukat, either.

Stand By Me and Shawshank are easily my faves. Misery was a good film too. I remember enjoying Silver Bullet when I was a kid. I thought The Stand -1994 was kind of lame. I haven't watched the newer series. may have to do that. This thread has reminded me.

I would like to see Eyes of the Dragon adapted.
