So it looks like the sequel is going to try to cover some of the more dark stuff from the novels.

I thought they are going to start the Chapter two with a flash back to the Black Spot stuff, but it looks like they are going to start the movie with the Adrian Mellon incident with them getting an actor for Mellon. The miniseries kind of skipped all that.
I hope they cast Audra soon if they haven't done that already.
Audra and Tom are important since they help the audience see what kind of people Bill and Bev are after they grow up. Not having either weakens both Bill and Bev.

Teach Grant cast as adult Henry Bowers in IT: Chapter 2
I'm happy Henry will be back in Chapter Two!
His scenes in Juniper Hill from the novel and miniseries were epic.
I was worried they had killed off Henry in the first movie.
Also Audra is in this! YES!
Jess Weixler will be playing her.

I just watched IT recently on HBO.
There must be something bad wrong with me--but I almost felt sorry for Pennywise. There are lots of brave humans--but Pennywise was, in truth an endangered species.
Something like The Stand--but for villains, might be for a time traveller to off the kids in an alternate time line, invite Pennywise to the Overlook--with a gate to RoseRed. The vilains find they are being played however....

I'm expecting MacAvoy and Chastain to be carrying most of this movie as Bill and Bev, along with Skarsgard's as Pennywise.
I'm curious how the movie will handle the flashbacks compared to the old tv minseries. The miniseries had the advantage of already having adult Losers appear in the first half, they already knew they were doing the whole story, which led to a less jarring transition to the nearly all adult storyline in the second half.
