The stature of limitations ran out on all the cases.
Too fucking bad, because molesters very rarely stop diddling, and especially in the the abelist Hollywood community that continues to praise Roman Polanski's genius to this day. And also fuck the LAPD for sitting on the tape when they got it two years ago from his ex-wife.

He actually had a recurring role in the second season of the series "REVOLUTION."
He also played "Ashley Wilkes" in the mini-series "SCARLETT" which was the sequel to "Gone with the Wind."

My understanding is the statute of limitations runs from the date of reporting. More likely the police investigated and couldn't find any corroborating evidence or witnesses (and any victims may not have wished to come forward), so there's nothing they can really do.

What does any of this have to do with Polanski's ability as a director? Regardless of his crimes, he still crafted one of the best films in cinema history - Chinatown. Why would we ignore that because of something he did in his personal life that had nothing to do with the production of the film?
Do you feel the same way about Michael Jackson? Are you going to tell me that Thriller is now not worthy of praise? Will you never watch Star Trek The Motion Picture again because of Collins' transgressions, which have absolutely nothing to do with that film? Elia Kazan named other Communists to the HUAC. Does that mean we no longer recognize On The Waterfront or Streetcar Named Desire for the great films they are?
I'm not saying Collins shouldn't be held accountable for his crime. I'm not saying Hollywood isn't "ableist" in these matters. I'm just suggesting that we separate the crime from the work.
