I've been wanting this book, but I'm not sure I want to spend $79 on it. Does anyone here own it, and can say if it's worth that price or not?

I have it and no, it's not worth $79.

Memory-Beta hasn't been very good at updating the article on this (nor has Memory-Alpha either).

I wouldn't mind knowing dates mentioned for everything plus starships and systems.

Well M-A is for canon information, so it is unlikely they'd have a lot from it on there.

I got it for Christmas, so I can't really say if I personally found it worth the cost. But I pull it out once and a while for reference points.
