I have visited your site many times in the past. A great resource for those who love this level of minutae. Outstanding all around!!!

I love it when I see one of your threads Capt.Mac. I know I'm going see something very cool. And the new additions are certainly that.

Nice updates. Fascinating detail about the uniform braid and insignias being removed every night so the uniforms could be drycleaned, and then sewn back on the next day.

Neat close-up of the first-season planet miniature. Thank goodness you couldn't see it that clearly onscreen, though, since it's obvious the clouds are painted on.

The Scene 29D video was historically interesting, but kind of hilarious, since it's basically just a reaction shot of Spock listening to other people's conversation. It was presumably just shot for coverage, and it's pretty clear why it wasn't used.

One minor point -- in the "twins" discussion on the "Enemy Within" page, you mention "Samantha and Sabrina" on Bewitched. Samantha's identical cousin was actually named Serena.

I think I've said it, but it bears repeating, there's a ton of Trek stuff out there, but yours is some of the most important.

Every little alternate take of TOS is precious, as are the missing scenes and behind the scenes bits. Thanks for the work you do.

I'm both thrilled and astounded each and everytime your site is updated!

I can only echo what many have already said. Your work is so important and a thankless task, I suspect. Restoration of this deleted Original Series material is equally, if not more important than the FX future proofing being done for HD.

If anyone at CBS cares for Star Trek, your team would be at the top of the list of fans to consult with for DVD extras. I draw your attention to a similar corporate co-operation setup on this side of the pond with Doctor Who: http://www.restoration-team.co.uk/

I wonder if there are other old shows that get this same level of devoted attention and research that Star Trek and Doctor Who get, or that have websites like this.

^ Doubtful. But having been a fan of both all of my life, I'm obviously bias. Doctor Who recently came back to TV with bang and Star Trek certainly deserves to... Hopefully they'll still be an old guard of fans for newbies to ask questions of when it does.

Seeing deleted material from the classic show, I would never have thought possible. It's this kind of painstaking care that deserves to be funded by those who own the franchise. Any old Doctor Who fan can tell how exciting it is when something never before seen (or thought destroyed) actually turns up again.

What !? No one has made mention that one of the newest contributors is none other than Bjo Trimble herself ?!!!

^^I noticed Trimble's name and was surprised that there was only one contribution from her. I'd think she'd have a ton of old film clips and stuff. Wasn't her company the one that sold them to the fans in the first place?

No, Alltho Bjo and her husband were extremely important to the birth of Star Trek (later) Lincoln Enterprises...
There wouldn't have been a Lincoln Enterprises without Bjo.
Lincoln was always owned by Gene and Majel.
