"Starship Valiant" (Was Pegasus: "Desperation")

Greetings all. I would like to invite you all to our site which is now up and running and take a gander at our new fan film currently in the preproduction stage. If all works out this will be the 2nd fan produced Star Trek fan film coming out of Oklahoma City. We welcome all input and thoughts. Our page is pretty new and does not contain a lot but with you guys help we hope to change all that. Our story will take place in the 23rd century during the first season of the original series. Yes, good luck, and I really look forward to seeing something from you. I can already see the big advantage of having two groups sharing the sets just in terms of extra hands to get them fixed, finished, up and going.

I hope to see something next year.

You have a sketch on your Facebook page of a possible alien character, one you haven't decided whether to realize by makeup FX or 3D...

Practical effects ALL the way, please!!

And a personal observation: you include a tentative crew roster list, but one that overwhelmingly skews anglo-saxon (6 of 7), with the last one a latino. Please try to favour a more international type of crew, as was Roddenberry's vision back in the 60s.

Thanks for commenting. I am all for a diverse bridge crew. The captain will be an African American and my plans are to include an Asian & Hispanic characters as well.

Thank you very much for the press. Yes there was damage but a great amount of it has been repaired and the bridge is almost back to specks. We will be having an update on the repairs later this in the week.

Most definitely. I have worked with the Ajax team in the past and they are a great group of people. I actually met with the Executive Producer this afternoon and he offered his assistance in any capacity. Great guy!

We have, for the most part, repaired the flood damage. There are a couple of things that still need some attention but we are functioning again.

I can confirm filming was done... partially.
Much more to do for the pilot film. The director
is making sure all the scenes look as good as
possible.

JC is correct. We have filmed all the bridge scenes at Starbase Studios and will finish filming during the week if December 17th. Check out the face book page for current updates as there are quite a few.
