The NX-01 isn't on there because it didn't exist when ST:TMP was made.

When a new production introduces a "Pretend this always existed/happened. **WINK**" type thing... said thing doesn't magically appear or get referenced to in stuff made prior to its introduction. You instead have a pre-thing and post-thing continuity point.

i.e. Thing only exists in stuff made after its creation.

    There's no NX-01 Enterprise reference in ST:TMP because it's pre-Enterprise.

Yes but I was speaking from a Watsonian in-universe perspective. Of course the real life reason why the Lower Decks prior Titans were left off was that the PIC guys were unaware of what the LD guys established. Kinda like various concurrent U.S.S. Yeager's in FC and DS9, or the Klingon D7 being retired "decades ago" in Voyager but being used en masse in DS9's big battle scenes.

Yes, I really liked how they implemented it.

Funny how even all of these fan takes usually only bother to include one of the aircraft carriers!

Yep, the CVN-65. No World War II carrier nor the 21st century nuclear-powered replacement.

There were 5 sailing ships named Enterprise as well, just in the US Navy. Plus another dozen in the Royal navy, and a couple HMS Enterprizes.

John Eaves did Sketches of all the Enterprises for Picard, based on the same style he did for Archer's ready room. It included only one sailing ship Enterprise, plus the 2 previous Aircraft Carriers named Enterprise and the upcoming CVN-80. The original Enterprise in both DSC and TOS style.

But they haven't shown up anywhere (yet). It's possible he accidentally filed them under Season 2 forgetting he made them for Season 3, or they were just went unused in Season 2.

STO's take on the Excelsior II

Kind of interesting - I think I'd like to see those nacelles a little bit longer, though. They seem a tad-bit out of proportion for the rest of the ship.

Apparently according to the Eaglemoss booklet, Oh's command ship wasn't designed by John Eaves, it was the VFX team.

I'm surprised, it reminded me of one of his Scimitar concept designs. Maybe the VFX team looked at his other designs for inspiration.

Nice ship! But I wish these STO orthos were larger.

That is a cool collections page. Sadly, they're not "true" orthos, as they have the perspective rendering turned on. :(

Fair point, I think these images are edited STO screenshots, so that wouldn't have been possible.

Are there shuttlecraft in STO? I'd love to see what the Type 14 shuttle from season 2 episode 1 really looks like. It seems to resemble a Type 11 (my current favorite shuttle) with new Stargazer-type nacelles, but the scene is too dark to see any details...

There are shuttles in STO, yes. There are a couple of 1P missions you can do that require them but for the most part, they're relatively useless, IMO.

The STO Wiki has a complete list, for all factions. No Type-11's or 14's, though.

Yeah they've stopped making shuttles as playable ships. They still make them as hangar pets though.
But since they're not player ships they're not as high quality.
