I found this somewhat TOS-ized reinterpretation of the Crossfield-class. With some further modification by the designer, I could imagine it showing up alongside the tasking force in the remastered version of "The Ultimate Computer".

I appreciate the dark aesthetic on this one for looking sleek but not necessarily sinister as in the cases of Vengeance and NCIA-93, though I would still like for there to be Bussard collectors on the nacelles.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that SotL 2021 calendar page. Did the artist ever say outright it was a Crossfield-class ship? I would not have thought CBS would allow an explicit reinterpretation to debut in this medium.

Whoa, that looks amazing! I love how Arvis1814 uses the Andromeda-class skin.
Is it perspective or are the nacelles in the first image shorter than in the second (nebula scene)?

That's the B-24-CLN study model from Planet Of The Titans. The other study model based off the McQuarrie-prise concept was the longer, wider one that eventually became the Crossfield class.

Here is another Crossfield redesign I found on ArtStation by a guy called Brandon Minnick, who does a really neat job at capturing the 1960s feel. His take just has a different soul from the official Crossfield.
