Starship Defiant

Starship Defiant along with all the other pendant fan shows have been cancelled. Not just cancelled but totally removed from their site. It's hard to find any reference to them anymore.

Disappointing as all the shows were mid story.

There isn't a lot of information on why it has happened either.

They were running 6 different fan shows, mostly from the DC universe and all of them have basically vanished. I had look through your site hoping to find a bit of extra info under the audio section.

I presume they must have had a cease and desist or something.

I get that from nosing around a few other boards. Oh well.

It's a shame but there are plenty more fan productions out their I still haven't tried.

I'm yet to meet somebody who tells me they have found NOTHING on my website they haven't seen or listened to... I sure haven't seen or watched all of my listings!

If you do, in poking around find something I don't have, please tell me. However, I have just one page for all mash-up links, and they are not organized. They are much more serious copyright violations than most fan productions.

I work with Darker Projects audio podcasts and this made the rounds a few weeks ago; we were all scratching our heads about it. Without having it confirmed directly, the general understanding we were able to scrabble together from various friends, contacts, and other sources in the audio world was that Pendant got a C&D from DC Comics and as a result, they took down anything that wasn't their own original content to avoid any kind of further action against them. Again, that's more a collective assumption than anything else, but it makes sense.
